3 Benefits of Personal Training

With the new year fast approaching, more and more folks are talking about health and wellness while looking forward to resolutions for 2023.

In fact, the term “wellness” is one of the most researched terms on google this year.

Top CEOs worldwide are spending their time getting in shape.  Recently pictures of a ripped Jeff Bezos on his yacht have surfaced, as well as videos of Mark Zuckerberg training MMA.

Fitness, weight loss, and being in shape are finally trending as they should be in 2023.  So what exactly does this have to do with the benefits of 1 on 1 personal training?

In order to become the best version of yourself an incredible amount of focus, energy, and attention must be paid to putting your best foot forward each day.

I can confidently say that the number one thing that holds people back is the lack of accountability and CONSISTENCY.  I’m not talking about the already dedicated fitness junkies, I’m talking about the average Jane in her 40’s, who has 2 kids and is still struggling to lose the 30+ pounds gained since college.

She hasn’t completely let herself go, yet has lost most of her healthy habits. Work, life, and family stress consumes her.

Whether you’re the average Jane or Joe, this is the most common client I come across in my day-to-day interactions.

Many are in need of personal training for at least the first 3 months of their fitness journey while they build their healthy habits.

Here are a few reasons to consider 1 on 1 personal training;

1 – Scheduling Convenience

One major reason to work with a coach 1 on 1 is convenience.  Everyone is busy and having the flexibility of meeting a professional coach exactly when it’s convenient for you is a huge help, especially in the beginning.

The first major goal we have for all of our clients is getting them physically active 3 days per week.  The most important factor in order to make this happen is time.  The convenience of a schedule is a major factor, and if the times to exercise don’t fit easily into a schedule during the “habit-building” phase, the program will never work.

2 – Personalized Program

Another major reason to consider working with someone 1 on 1 is having a specific program tailored and crafted to you. One-on-one personal training is great because it will allow for a very specific amount of focus, particularly on your goals.

For example, if a client is interested in gaining muscle mass and strength, the major focus of our program will involve strength training exercises.  If another client comes in for weight loss specifically, weight training will still be a major part of the program, but the exercise selection and mix of more conditioning will make it different then the first client.

3 – Accountability

Last, and most importantly is the accountability factor.

Let’s face it, most of us have the best of intentions when it comes to changing our lifestyle and getting healthy.  The issue for most of us is not the 3-5 hours each week in the gym, but the other 165 hours outside of the gym.

What are you doing for the remaining 96% of the week?  This is where the 1 on 1 relationship built with your coach will help you to stay on track with your nutrition, sleep, recovery, and more.

One-on-one personal training is the quickest and most effective way to get from point A to point B.  The beauty of it is that you don’t have to stay in a one-on-one setting forever.

If you value the camaraderie of group training, one of the best approaches would be a hybrid of small group training and 1 on 1 so you can get the best of both worlds.

Our mission is to help you reach your health and fitness goals.

As you build a consistent routine you may need less 1 on 1 accountability and choose what works best for you and your schedule.
